YIPP projects, a few favorites.

At YIPP we make digital interactives for museums. We work on many projects each year. Each of those is made up of many smaller interactives. All of these are location based and custom. This page highlights a few of my favorites from various exhibitions.

Labyrinthia, Drents Museum

An immersive canoe experience, where you get to experience the prehistoric life and landscape of Drente. We built a custom 3D tracker that tracks the movement of the paddles in the hands of the visitor. A custom panoramic rendering technique was utilized to produce a crisp, perspective-correct image.

Triceratops, Naturalis Leiden

A traveling exhibition built around an excavation of a herd of Triceratops. My favorite exhibit here allows the visitor to grab a spray can and spray various skin patterns on an animated Triceratops.

MuZEEum, Vlissingen

Grab the wheel to navigate your ship out of the trecherous harbor.

Technicians Gallery, London Science Museum

Take control of an underwater ROV, with simulated sonar virtual seabed. Use joysticks and buttons to move around and displace boulders.

Schoenenkwartier, Waalwijk

The heart of the Dutch shoe and leather industry, Waalwijk. A lovely museum with many fun exhibits. Pictured here is the "exploded shoe", where you can inspect all the different components that go into a modern or traditional shoe.

Wereldmuseum, Rotterdam

An exhibit on the Asmat culture. It included digitizing ritual shields, rendering them nicely, and highlighting the symbology.

Kaap Skil, Texel

Grab the wheel again, but this time, cooperate to supply a merchant vessel with goods from around the Wadden sea. Beware of low tide!

Here's a slightly longer list of exhibitions I've worked for
